Randa Ismail

Egyptian artist living in Cairo, graduated as an architect. Devoted to art since 2004, she studied it with renowned Egyptian artists. Heavily influenced by women’s issues, especially Egyptian women, she took the Nubian woman as an example in most of her paintings. She lived in Nubia, studied their characters, habits, history and rituals, and fell in love with every aspect of their lives. This beauty is reflected in her paintings.
She held 6 solo exhibitions between 2011 – 2019 at important galleries in Cairo including the Cairo Opera House art gallery. She participated in more than 70 group exhibitions in Egypt, London, Rome and Helsinki.
