Hosni Radwan Portrait
Hosni Radwan (born in Baghdad in 1955) is a Ramallah-based artist and a graduate of Baghdad`s College of Fine Art (with an additional qualification in printmaking from Budapest). His art is a true reflection of his experiences as a much traveled artist who has resided in many countries across the Middle East as well Cyprus and Tunisia. Places and people - crowds and incognitos - underpin much of his work and his paintings are often enriched with Arabic script and motifs.
Radwan has exhibited widely both individually and collectively - often in far flung places such as Japan and Canada - which is testimony to his popular appeal.
