Charbel Samuel Aoun

Born in 1980, Charbel Samuel Aoun holds a master’s degree in architecture (USEK-‐2004).
In the following five years he worked as a conceptual designer in several architectural firms (Erga Group-‐Dar al Handasah) and also explored the fields of audiovisual and theatre. Meanwhile he started to create a wild garden combining hundreds of varieties of plants and trees. This connection with nature led to a deep understanding of organic space, a space in permanent movement through light (colours) and growth (forms). Since 2009 he’s completely devoted to his art which is engaged socially and environmentally. His work is collected by several collectors and institutions such as the royal family of emirates, Raymond Audi, Jean Marc Decrop, Abraham Karabajakian, the Tate Modern museum.
